it’s the 8th day of the 12th month, and once again we have no heARTwork by Yuri to present to you.
last month, we travelled again to film additional participants for our War Brides of Japan documentary. this feature-length movie will tell the stories of Japanese war brides, their adult children and/or their grandchildren. those brave women who married American GI’s occupying their country took a huge leap of faith to immigrate to a country most of them had never seen before. because of that, and other hardships they endured, we like to call them Bad Ass Brides.
